About the partnership
Since the announcement of the merger between Manline and Barloworld Logistics Dedicated Transport in 2012, an OIM team has been facilitating the organisational aspects of merging the two companies, including:

 

  • Facilitating the strategic planning process and the structuring of the new senior management team.
  • Aligning the business structure with the strategy.
  • Using OIM’s performance model as the framework for the new organisational and people management practices, rebranded to SmartTruckers.
  • Facilitating the change and strategic communication process.
  • Using OIM’s employee engagement methodology to help execute strategy and establish the new business culture, rebranded as SmartComs.
The team from OIM have been intimately involved in the organizational design of the new Barloworld Transport Solutions business. From pre-merger strategy development to communication and change management plans, team alignment sessions and individual coaching, OIM has assisted us to merge two good businesses and implement their INVOCOM® methodology as the foundation for building one great business.
